What does it do

Description

Gradual Self Tan Lotion can be compared to a light lotion in consistency and is quite runny. It should be applied in the same way as a body lotion and the golden color comes gradually over a couple of hours. Build up color gradually over several days, and refresh the color if necessary.

We love that it's so easy to use, and that it gives a great glow just a couple of hours after application. It does not become scaly and it gradually disappears without having to scrub and rub to get it off.

How to do it

Use it on freshly showered, dry skin, morning or evening - and refresh the color with a new application if necessary. After just one application, winter-white legs and shoulders turn a light tan.

When you're going for something special, you can use the Gradual Self Tan Lotion three or four days in a row to achieve a deeper tan. The application goes super fast, but be extra careful not to use too much on the hands and feet, and to spread the cream well between the toes and fingers.

For best results, we recommend scrubbing the skin before using self-tanner. It may also be a good idea to apply a rich cream to your feet, ankles, knees, elbows and hands, so that the dry skin is moisturised. Self-tanning adheres more to dead skin cells and dry skin, which in turn can give an uneven colour. When the skin is saturated with products, less self-tanning will "stick". i.e. that the amount of product that is already on top of the skin is important for how much color is achieved.

Wash your hands well after application, re-lubricate your hands with rich cream and then apply a tiny drop to the backs of your hands and massage them together.

Do not shower with oil or scrub your skin with an oil-based scrub BEFORE applying selftan lotion. Then the color will not stick to the skin.
