Why do WE test?

In today's society, there are many products, especially cosmetics, that come into contact with the skin daily, and often over long periods of time. It is therefore important that the products we apply to our skin are safe and that they actually have the effect you expect.

We constantly carry out thorough and independent clinical tests to ensure that our products provide the best possible results with documented effects and safe ingredients. All products for which we have received test results are marked on the product page itself.

We never test on animals!

Test methods that involve animal experiments are fortunately prohibited here and something we strongly oppose. Since the results of so-called cell culture tests are limited when transferred to humans, tests under medical supervision are required from an ethical and scientific point of view. Our studies are extensive and involve, among other things, a large group of people who use the products over a given period.

Who are we testing on?

We are conducting a so-called Monocentric clinical study over a total period of four weeks that includes 20 women per product, aged 40-76 years who have visible wrinkles. None of the participants has a history of using prescription/medical skin care, Botox or fillers on the skin.

How and where do we test?

The participants in the study will be asked to use the product for a certain period, and the researchers will then measure the results based on various factors such as moisture, elasticity, wrinkle reduction and other indicators of skin health.

Our tests are carried out in Germany by an independent and recognized laboratory called Dermatest . We have achieved their 5-star seal of excellence in all tests we have carried out.

What does it mean that a study is "independent"?

When a clinical study is independent, it means that the study is carried out by a third party that is not involved in the production or sale of the product being tested. Independent clinical studies are important to ensure that the results reported are objective and reliable. All tests on our products are "independent"!

What does "dermatologically tested" mean?

Being "dermatologically tested" means that the product has been tested by a dermatologist or an independent laboratory to ensure that it is safe for use on the skin.

During a dermatological test, the laboratory will examine the ingredients of the product to ensure that they are not harmful to the skin, and they will also test the product on a group of volunteers with different skin types to assess its effectiveness and tolerance.

What exactly is a clinical trial?

A clinical study is a scientific investigation that examines the effect and safety of a skin care product on human skin. The study can include everything from simple observations to thorough scientific tests, and the purpose is to collect data on how the product works on people.

The purpose of a clinical study on skin care products is to determine whether a product is safe and effective in treating skin problems and improving the appearance of the skin.

Before each test, the risk of all ingredients in the test product is assessed. All available information is systematically analyzed to identify possible dangers and to avoid risks. The purpose of the study is to investigate the skin tolerance and effectiveness of the product exactly.

The results for each product are on the product page under the "clinical tests" tab.
