Polyglutamic acid is long chains of the amino acid glutamic acid. Amino acids are the building blocks of our skin. The most important benefit of polyglutamic acid, and other moisture-binding ingredients, is to keep the skin moist by drawing moisture from the atmosphere into the upper layers of the skin.
