Limnanthes alba seed oil contains glucosinolate derivatives, 3-methoxybenzylisocyanate (MBITC) and 3-methoxyphenylacetonitrile. Research has shown that these can inhibit collagen-degrading enzymes in the skin and help compensate for the negative effect of UVB sun exposure.
