Which niacinamide serum should I choose?

Niacinamide is one of the active ingredients with the best documented effect on skin problems, it is an ingredient that works against a number of skin challenges, and is suitable for all skin types. It is simply an ingredient that absolutely everyone should have in their skincare routine!

So, which niacinamide serum should you choose? There are a few things to consider before choosing a product:

    • In order to have an effect on, among other things, pigment spots, the concentration of niacinamide must be at least 4%.
    • The other active ingredients of the niacinamide product are crucial for its effectiveness.

Linda's two serums contain 10% niacinamide and 20% niacinamide, respectively - which is sufficient for optimal effect. The serums are also fortified with other active ingredients, which help to enhance the effect against a number of challenges.

    Niacinamide Serum 10%

10% Niacinamide serum is right for you with:

    • Enlarged pores
    • Irregularities after pimples
    • Uneven skin tone
    • Redness and irritation

The 10% serum also contains the following active ingredients:

    • Beta-glucan - moisturizing, soothing, stimulates collagen production
    • Licorice extract - anti-inflammatory, pigment-reducing
    • Green tea - antioxidant, repairing, soothing

The 20% Niacinamide serum is right for you with:

    • Enlarged, «saggy» pores
    • Orange-like skin, coarse pore and sun damaged
    • Sebum-related irregularities in the skin, e.g. whiteheads
    • Pigment stains

    The 20% serum also contains:

    • Beta-glucan - moisturizing, soothing, stimulates collagen production
    • Baoba protein - protects against cell damage, counteracts signs of aging
    • Amino acids - antioxidant, moisture retaining, elasticity enhancing

    10%, 20% Or both?

If you want to prevent and possibly repair minor damage, pigment spots and irregularities in the skin, as well as combining the niacinamide serum with other boosters and face serum, 10% is a good choice. We usually recommend 10% to you who want to shrink pores, get clearer skin with less pigment, or are sensitive.

For those of you who have large coarse pores, a lot of pigment spots, old sun damage and uneven skin texture, the serum with 20% niacinamide is right.

It is important that you choose the serum that best suits your skin - for example, it is not the case that 20% niacinamide is "better" than 10%. The skin is at its best with products adapted to its condition and challenges!

For some, a combination of the two serums may be ideal. Adult skin with classic challenges that come with age, for example, can benefit from the serum with 10% niacinamide during the day and 20% at night. However, it is important to try, to ensure that the skin copes with the treatment. Note, 20% Niacinamide is very potent and not suitable for everyone.

Remember that the serum with 20% niacinamide is not suitable for everyone . If you do not have the skin challenges described above, double concentration of the active substance will not have a double effect. Then 10% niacinamide is more appropriate, and you will have a better effect by combining the niacinamide serum with other effective ingredients.

If you have well-grown skin, with sun damage, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone and a rougher skin - then you should use 10% niacinamide during the day and 20% at night. Yes thank you, both!
