"My makeup routine has changed with age, and I wear more makeup now than when I was younger. I feel better about myself when I have makeup on, I feel fresher."

Anita has stunning blue eyes that we want to highlight. Her eyebrows are dark and beautiful, but need to be lifted a little at the outer edge to open up the eye more.

Like many adult women, Anita has a little fuller skin around the outside of her mouth, under her cheekbones. Using bronzer as a shadow can trick this into becoming less visible.

To lighten the face, we used Flawless Foundation in a color that is a bit lighter (05-Medium Cool) than her own skin tone. Since Anita doesn't have bags under her eyes, we added a light concealer (01-Light/med) to "blur out" the few lines. With black kajal on the wet line, the look becomes more intense.

Get the look

  • EYES: We have chosen the color Riviera, a burgundy-purple eyeshadow on the entire lid to highlight Anita's blue eyes. We also put it under the outer lash line to frame the eye. Under the brow we use the light base shade Feather and in the inner corner of the eye we use the shimmer color Pearl to open up the eyes.
  • CHEEKS: Powder Blush 04-Parfait on the top of the cheekbones allows the fair skin to shine through. Under the cheekbones and jawbone we use Baked Bronzer 02-Sunglow to draw in and create contour. Apply bronzer in a figure of 3 along the face from the hairline to under the cheekbone to under the jawbone.
  • GLOW: A little highlighter, 03-Champagne, on the top of the cheekbones and bridge of the nose gives nice light reflection and Balmy Lipgloss on the lips 01-So Nude gives nice harmony.
