1. UV rays from the sun:
One of its best-known properties is vitamin C's ability to protect against harmful UV rays and prevent sun damage, photosensitivity and UV-induced oxidative stress.

2. Air pollution:
Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant that fights oxidative stress caused by air pollution. It protects the skin against harmful particles and chemicals.

3. Oxidative stress in general:
Vitamin C protects against oxidative stress caused by free radicals from various sources, which are not only limited to sunlight and pollution.

4. Aging:
Although vitamin C cannot stop the natural aging process, it can help reduce the impact of age-related oxidative stress on the skin. It supports collagen production and maintains the skin's elasticity.

How to do it

• The choice between, for example, 25% and 15% vitamin C depends on individual needs, tolerance for the product and the desired result. A 25% concentration gives faster and more dramatic results, but it can also be more challenging for the skin's tolerance. For some people, 25% may be too strong, especially for those with sensitive skin.
• Aging affects not only the skin's needs, but also its tolerance. Older skin with typical signs of aging such as wrinkles, loss of elasticity, dryness and pigmentation will benefit better from 25%, which provides a more intensive and repairing effect.

Useful info

• Some may experience irritation or sensitivity when using high concentrations of ascorbic acid. That is why we have added a type of vitamin C with "time release" which is both stable, gentler on the skin and provides a gradual and continuous release of vitamin C over time.
• Apply to freshly cleansed skin in the morning, before moisturiser/SPF.
• The product may change color over time, this does not change the product's effect.
• Suitable for all skin types, in case of sensitivity, the serum can be mixed into the moisturizer as a booster.
• Note: Should not be exposed to sunlight.
