Oryzanol
Oryzanol is a multifunctional phytosterol from rice bran oil with powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
It contains a blend of sterols and ferulic acids that effectively combat free radicals and UV damage while slowing the development of melanin pigmentation in the skin. Oryzanol can also stabilize oils from oxidation and moisturize dry skin by stimulating the sebaceous glands to balance natural oil production.
Oryzanol has recently been investigated for its ability to slow the development of melanin pigmentation by capturing ultraviolet rays on the skin's surface and preventing them from reaching and damaging the melanin cells.
